VPN Leak Test

Checks whether your real IP address slips out while the VPN is on.

What websites can see

    Your real connection

    If something leaks

WebRTC leak: turn on WebRTC leak protection in your VPN app or extension, or use the VPN’s app instead of a browser extension. IPv6 leak: turn on IPv6 leak protection in the VPN, or turn off IPv6 on your network adapter. Main address showing: the VPN isn’t connected, or it dropped and its kill switch is off.

This test checks your main address, IPv6 and WebRTC. It doesn’t check DNS leaks, which need a special server. A VPN also can’t hide your time zone and language, which websites can read.
