Dead pixels and colors
Shows full-screen solid colors one after another. Look closely for dots that stay black, white or a different color.
- Clean the screen first: dust looks a lot like a dead pixel.
- Black reveals light leaking from the edges (backlight bleed). Dim the room for this one.
- Gradients show banding, steps between shades instead of a smooth fade.
